About Daniele
Born and raised in France, Danièle made her stage debut at the early age of five. She joined the Conservatoire D'art Dramatique where she played the great French classics, Greek tragedies and comedies. Her interest in languages guided her to North America and Canada where she became actively involved with the artistic community. She began her career performing in piano bars, music halls, theatres and cabarets, developing an adoring audience base through her popular live concerts.
She has appeared in Canada and in the United states in a variety of shows such as Fiddler on the roof, Man of La Mancha, The Boyfriend, Hello Dolly, Tartuffe, Come blow your Horn, The last of the Red Hot Lovers, Rebecca, The Maids, The Rovers, You can't take it with you and various Piaf and Brel productions.
Danièle is renowned for her interpretation of the music of Edith Piaf and Jacques Brel, and to many she is synonymous with the spirit of romance that the French café song has given the world, and nowhere is that tradition better expressed than in Danièle’s repertoire. She is a true exponent of French culture in South Africa, making her a sought after artist in the entertainment industry.
